Overview

Let the OPC minibus take you anywhere in Rochester, Rochester Hills or Oakland Township, to Oakland University, and the Troy Beaumont Medical Complex. You may use the minibus for appointments, shopping, to visit friends, or attend activities at OPC.

The OPC Transportation Service is a door to door, shared ride service. The minibuses are wheelchair lift equipped and our courteous, trained drivers will safely get you to your destination and back home again. A reservation is required 7 - 14 business days in advance, (see reservation hours below).

Qualifications

Transportation is available for persons 60 years or older and those under 60 who are disabled. People under 60 may also qualify if they have a doctor’s statement and are unable to drive. If you are age 59 or younger, please contact the Transportation Office at 248-652-4780 for information on special guidelines.

Fare

$2.00 per ride each way, ($4.00 round trip).  Riders can pay the driver with exact change or with a token. 
A token package is available - 11 tokens for $20.  Purchase from the OPC Cashiers, the drivers, or by mail.                

Require assistance?

If you require a Caregiver / Aide, they are allowed to ride with you, (minimum 18 years of age). A charge of $2.00 ($4.00 round trip), is required.  A Caregiver / Aide is required if the rider has special needs that the driver cannot manage alone.

  • Saturday: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm 
  • Sunday: 8:00 am – 1:00 pm (Church Services Only)
